Rescue choppers raising our profile in the community... ...and some much-needed funds

With the demand on our services reaching record highs we're out and about in the community this Autumn, spreading the word about what we do - and how you can keep us ready to rescue.   There are events that will appeal to the whole family wherever you are in our region.  We're showcasing a few here, but have a wander around the website for lots more ideas on how you can help your vital community resource.

Bundy Ring Road Fun Run - the opportunity for a chopper visit to your school!

The annual Bundaberg Ring Road Run takes place this year on June 10.   Sponsored by Jenny Craig, the AGL Action Rescue Helicopter is amongst the charities set to benefit from the proceeds.  And there's a chance for the school with the greatest participation to get a visit from our Bundy chopper and crew.  They dropped in to meet the kids at St Mary's Primary to promote the upcoming event. Sunshine Coast Airport - Chopper vs Car Race

Not so much a fundraiser as a hair-raiser! Your chance to ride shotgun in the rally car on 23 May as it tries to beat our chopper in the annual speed trial challenge.   One passenger place is up for grabs in the Proton rally car.  Watch last year's video short and download the Sunshine Coast Daily competition entry form HERE
